June 2, 2004 -- Susun Weed, herbalist and author, will be giving a talk on “The Six Steps of Healing” at the Yoga Sanctuary in Toronto, ON. This evening talk, held on Friday, June 18th, from 7pm to 10pm will help its participants break through the confusion surrounding "alternative medicine.”
How do you choose between homeopathy and acupuncture, surgery and salves, nettles and spirulina? Make sense of medicine with the Six Steps of Healing. Experience the benefits of doing nothing, examine ways to collect information, delight in the shaman's playground, learn the difference between nourishing, tonifying, and stimulating, and talk sense about drugs and high-tech medicine.
The cost for this workshop is $20.00 + gst. Please register in advance to avoid disappointment. Beginners to yoga and meditation are welcome; all are encouraged to wear comfortable clothing. Visit the Yoga Sanctuary’s website to register: http://www.theyogasanctuary.net.
