ALL NEW NATURAL TREATMENT SPECIFICALLY FOR MULTIPLE SCLEROSISLenexa, KS, September 31, 2000 - VesPro Life Sciences, LLC (http://www.vespro.com) a company pioneer in research, development and marketing of Phyto Nutrients and Phyto Pharmaceuticals, today announces the opening of its Alternative and Complementary Medicine web site (www.msmiracle.com) specifically focused on Multiple Sclerosis.
Developed with the research and guidance of Dr. Mark Medvedeff, M.D., this web site brings together in one place a wide range of accepted Alternative and Complementary therapies for the disease as well as original research and case studies.
Multiple Sclerosis effects more than 350,000 people in the United States, most of whom are relatively young. Onset of Multiple Sclerosis is generally between 20 and 40 years of age. The exact cause of Multiple Sclerosis is not known. There is no cure for Multiple Sclerosis, but treatments are now available which can modify the course of the disease. Many of the available treatments are prohibitively expensive or have significant side effects. VesPro is exploring safer, less expensive approaches to treating the symptoms many patients experience.
Dr. Medvedeff, who specializes in Alternative and Complementary therapies for Multiple Sclerosis in Ohio, said, "It is well known that patients with Multiple Sclerosis frequently suffer from a number of biochemical imbalances within their bodies, and these imbalances may contribute to the disease process." Many of the symptoms of Multiple Sclerosis can be successfully managed and treated. Many Multiple Sclerosis patients Dr. Medvedeff has treated with VesPro's NitroPlex(Somatein) and SomatoMed have shown remarkable improvements. Mr. Donald Alberstadt was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis eight years ago. He had difficulty swallowing and his Speech therapist was prepared to recommend surgery for feeding tube replacement. He started using the combination of SomatoMed and NitroPlex (Somatein) in March. Mr. Alberstadt said, "My Speech therapist is amazed and admitted he never expected me to improve." The recommendation for surgery for the feeding tube was never made because Mr. Alberstadt is now able toincrease the type of foods he eats to a more normal diet, and has experienced significant improvement in energy levels. Mr. Sheldon Saferstein, also a patient of Dr. Medvedeff, was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis ten years ago. By June 1999, his legs were totally debilitated. Mr. Saferstein started using both SomatoMed and Nitroplex (Somatein) in September, 1999. Mr. Saferstein said, "My balance returned, my endurance improved and my muscles began to grow noticeable. I am now able to exercise again and began using my equipment at home that I had been forced to give up over a year ago because of my legs."
Mrs. Paula McCartney was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis nearly 30 years ago. After taking the combination of SomatoMed and Nitroplex (Somatein) for just two weeks, her condition began to improve. Mrs. McCartney said, "The supplements make me feel stronger. I can lift my leg higher, which improves my ability to walk and climb steps. My muscles no longer burn after standing in a fixed position. I also feel brighter and more aware."
"What is great about the msmiracle.com online feature is that it contains information about the Multiple Sclerosis disease process and some of the alternative and natural treatments that are being successfully used." said Gary Cook president and CEO of VesPro Life Sciences, LLC.
